Its time to Play Ball!

With Major League Baseball season now underway, the PawSox start their season on the road heading first to Syracuse to take on the Syracuse Mets for a 4 game series, then shuffle off to Buffalo to play a 3 game set against the Buffalo Bisons.

Its no doubt that the Red Sox first game surely didn't go as expected, but they eked out a win their second game against Seattle, and its a long season.

Tomorrow, a few of us will head up to Boston’s Logan Airport to transport the PawSox players to Rhode Island. The Penske will get loaded with their luggage, equipment, personal items like cribs, strollers and other essentials. Most have already chosen where they will call home for the season, get some much-needed rest for a day or two and then get ready for the 2019 season.

The Clubhouse Crew is getting everything “Ready to Go” for the season!

PawSox Director of PawSox Productions, Joe Jacobs spent a couple of days at Spring Training in Fort Meyers, Florida. He was able to shoot some great photos

Mookie is certainly a Fan Favorite…

Dustin Pedroia must be ecstatic back doing what he loves…

Chandler Shepherd going through his exercise routine…

Chandler is 6'3" and about 185 pounds, and able to get in a pretty good leap!

Ryan Brasier is a gutty pitcher with great talent…

You may recall during the American League Division Series against the Yankees. With Brasier on the hill, Gary Sanchez took his time getting in the batter's box with a 1–2 count. Brasier told him, in so many words, to get back in the box. Once in the batter's box, Brasier flung a 97 mph fastball to sit Sanchez down!

Not only can Ryan pitch, but he also plays a mean game of golf. During the 2018 season, Ryan and his teammate, Jalen Beeks played in a charity golf tournament. Brasier chipped in a very impressive eagle that I should have got a video of, but quite frankly I didn't think he had a prayer. Beeks is also a very good golfer. As part of a putting competition, Brasier was the last man standing and had a chance to win $10,000 is he made a 75-foot putt.

Since the putting competition was at the completion of the tournament, a large crowd gathered to watch the Brasier very long putt. He lined it up and took the shot. The crowd was cheering as it was heading directly for the hole! As the ball drew closer to the hole the cheers increased to a loud roar! Unfortunately, the ball came to rest a half inch to the right of the hole. It was a funfilled day, watching these two great men be so accommodating with the crowd, laughing, taking photos and signing autographs…

An awesome photo of Jim Rice walking by the Legends Banner, with him being on the banner!…

Could this youngster someday be on the Legends banner?

Tzu-Wei Lin is destined to be a great ballplayer. A fine young man with a great demeanor and a lot of talent…

New PawSox Manager Billy McMillon chats with Austin Rei…

Is it possible they could be discussing signals? Or could it be they both had an itch in the nose area at the same time?

With Spring Training now in the rearview, it signals the start of the 2019 season! Fans are itching to get the PawSox 2019 season underway!

Get your tickets now and be part of the excitement and fun at very affordable prices! Call our ticket office at 401–724–7300 or visit pawsox.com for all details on events and promotions.
